We have been manufacturing exhaust systems for high performance aircraft since 1977.

When designing an exhaust system, we place longevity at the same priority level as overall performance. Because of this, our systems typically last beyond 2000 hours. In fact, we have original systems from 1977 that are still flying today. Because we have been able to work with pilots who fly at the highest levels of competition (and abuse), we have fully developed our systems to be both trouble-free and powerful - just what you expect from your performance aircraft.

The listing below shows our only available standard production exhaust systems. We have had to limit the number of exhaust system combinations because of growing order backlogs.  We manufacture each exhaust system to the same production-quality standards, never cutting corners to just "make it work." As such, depending on the system, there will be a long lead time that should be accounted for.  If you need an exhaust system in less than 12 months, we may not be able to fulfill your order.

Our large machining and metal processing capabilities sets us apart from all other exhaust manufacturers. From brazing critical joints in the system, to producing single-piece, compound bent primary tubes, to going so far as vacuum furnace annealing the final product for stress relief, we use the highest quality processes and materials in our systems. All of the tubing that we use to manufacture our exhaust systems is produced by mills in the USA and is received with certificates of conformance to prove viability for use in our extreme applications.

Our exhaust systems are intended for experimental aircraft use only.

Important Note About Exhaust Installations:

During installation, it is necessary to fabricate a support bracket to hold the exhaust system in place. If the system is not properly supported, heavy aerobatic loads and normal engine movement will wear the system much more quickly. We affix brackets to the top side of the collector to make this a straightforward procedure. There are many different ways to make the support, pictured below is an excellent example. Please remember, if you are attaching the exhaust system to the engine mount, you must have a flexible section to accommodate engine movement. If you attach the support directly to the engine, then the support can be solid.

Warranty Info:

Inasmuch as Sky Dynamics Corporation has no opportunity to monitor the use or installation of parts supplied by it, nor opportunity to participate in the design, manufacture, or maintenance of the aircraft in which its parts are utilized, the purchaser, by placing an order, agrees that all materials purchased will be used solely at the purchaser's own risk and that the purchaser will indemnify and hold Sky Dynamics Corporation, its owners and employees, free and harmless from all loss, liability, or damage resulting from any alleged failure or defect of any such parts, except for the replacement of such parts. Sky Dynamics Corporation's obligation under this warranty is limited to exchange of the goods supplied and in no case is to exceed the invoiced amount.

Please note: While we make every effort to stand behind our products and resolve any issues, the warranty will be voided if exhaust system is ceramic coated. This is due to the decrease in lifespan associated with coating and the inability to properly repair components should a failure occur. We may also void the warranty if the system shows signs of considerable abuse or significantly improper installation (ex: forcing a system manufactured for a 360 onto a 320). If you have any questions about our warranty or the anticipated lifespan of our products, please feel free to call or email and discuss it with us. With our considerable experience, we have seen what contributes to the deterioration of exhaust systems and what can be done to make our systems last for many years and thousands of hours.
